The Rights of the Elderly in the Constitution of 2008 Support the Quality of Life for the Elderly in the Republic of Ecuador.

Abstract

This bibliographic review article analyzes the context of the rights of the elderly in the context of the comprehensive care system for the elderly in Ecuador, with the aim of substantiating the need for mechanisms that compel and guarantee compliance with the Organic Law for the Protection of the elderly. For this, the exegetical - legal, theoretical, logical and synthesis methods were taken as study methods and content analysis as techniques. The rights of the elderly in Ecuador, are guaranteed from the construction in law, as a support for their quality of life, however, the figures show the opposite, with respect to the mechanisms that institute them, towards new recommendations for the effectiveness and efficiency of the regulatory system, this article is directed.
