This study deals with the digital simulation of a typical IEEE 39-bus power system using UPFC to improve the management of real and reactive power flows through the transmission line through the UPFC at the end of which three data simulations are sent. When UPFC is not installed, real and reactive power cannot be controlled through the transmission line. The circuit model for UPFC is developed using rectifiers and invert circuits. The MATLAB simulation results are presented to validate the model. The network result is added to the UPFC and is not used in line with current active and reactive lines in the line and current and reactive currents in the bus to analyse UPFC performance.
