Twenty-eight 4th/5th grade elementary students read two illustrated texts while their eye movements were recorded with an eye tracker. Findings were a) integrative transition is associated with their transfer outcomes, b) attention shifting is associated with learning outcomes, and c) no working memory capacity is associated with integrative transition.
