Artificial Intelligence and Personalised Learning. the Silent Revolution in Inclusive Education

EasyChair Preprint 15960

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital tools represent an epoch-making turning point for the world of education, as they can offer new possibilities and experiences of personalised and inclusive learning. However, the success of these technologies depends not only on their mere application, but on the ability of educators to widen their gaze and embrace new pedagogical perspectives that make students active and aware protagonists of learning processes. Through the integration of theoretical models, such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and the use of AI tools, it is possible to develop educational paths that encourage students' creativity, critical thinking and responsibility, even from an early age. Therefore, this contribution explores the potential of AI in education, proposing strategies and theoretical reflections for the personalisation of educational pathways, with an optimistic, but at the same time critical and conscious outlook. Finally, it emphasises the importance of an education that forms aware digital citizens, capable of exploiting technologies in an ethical and creative way, to build a fairer and more just society.
