Abstract

The purpose of the study is how to extraction the water from product of the sliced orange according to solar drying. The experimental study has been used the effect of condition work into dehydration sliced orange by the selected a dimension of the chamber drying , solar collector, and the dimension of the product , the results gives the moisture ratio of the orange slice as a function to time dry corresponding to condition work. During the operation of the drying we interested by the values of the environment or condition of the work which estimated in the solar radiation, ambient temperature, temperature of the absorber plate, relative humidity, temperature linked by a chamber drying, and temperatures related with a solar collector. The results give the performance of the solar drying and the chamber drying for dehydration the product of the slices orange.

Keyphrases: Orange slice., Solar Drying., Thickness., moisture ratio., solar radiation., temperature.
