Possible Ways of Measuring and Calculating Waste Heat from a Machine Diagnostic Approach

Abstract

Utilization of waste heat is one of the most important parts of energy efficiency. There are several possibilities for this calculation, in this thesis we partly relied on the theory of similarity. The target of using waste heat is to achieve the best possible system efficiency within a complex system. Measurement of the drive motor, torque converter, inverter, battery and shaft connection must be examined together. We summarize the results of this work.
