Factors Affecting the Adoption of AR Augmented Reality Technologies by Users

Abstract

Augmented reality (AR) is a technology system where virtual objects are incorporated into the real world, in real time, throughout the user experience. AR (Augmented reality) system integrates real and digital objects into a real, physical environment. In this way, the structure of the consumer experience is changed, providing significant benefits for both sides, for companies and users .

 

Although Augmented Reality Technologies have entered a new era, accompanied by massive commercial investment, they are still the subject of many open research theses and the focus of interest of a large number of scientists and marketing and IT professionals. This revolutionary digital age brings with it new topics that need to be examined and analyzed, not only from a scientific point of view, but also in terms of social impact. Accordingly, this paper aims to gather knowledge from the past, including the views and opinions of experts in this field, to analyze the factors influencing the acceptance and adoption of AR technologies by consumers.

 

The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze the key factors influencing the acceptance and adoption of AR technologies from the user's perspective. The starting point for testing these components is the conventional Davis TAM model from 1989, which will be presented in the following chapters. In addition, a critical review of the scientific literature in this field will be presented. This paper provides an excellent basis for identifying and managing future challenges and trends in this area.
