Call for Contributions
The 6th International Conference on Creative\Media/Technologies (IConCMT) will take place at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (UAS) from November 27th to 28th 2024, providing a dynamic platform for collaboration across various research domains within the expansive field of media and digital technologies.
With the aim of fostering interdisciplinary exchange within the vast landscape of digital media, IConCMT deliberately emphasizes a diverse array of topics and encourages dialogues that intersect new technological frontiers with creative design, as well as economic, social, and cultural considerations.
We cordially invite submissions addressing any of the conference's central themes. Contributions may take various forms, but regardless of the format, we welcome both short and full papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
This year's conference places special emphasis on the following themes:

Exploring AI, XR, VR, and AR: Applications across diverse sectors such as industry, healthcare, art, and media.

Storytelling and Crisis Communication: Analysing narrative techniques and communication strategies in response to crises such as war, climate change, and threats to democracy.

Advancements in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI): Investigating interfaces and interactions between humans and computers, including topics such as Large Language Models (LLM), and voice assistance technologies.

Innovations in Sonification and Interactive Audio: Examining techniques for transforming data into sound, interactive audio experiences, auditory feedback systems, and spatial audio technologies.

Public health and digitalisation: Postdigital health practices, from telemedicine to tracking apps.

User Experience in Arts & Culture: empirical studies on how technologies change the visitor experience in museums, gardens, cultural heritage, cultural tourism and festivals.
Submission guidelines:
Abstracts should outline the chosen format (oral presentation, PhD project, poster, demo, or artistic intervention), research questions, methodology, and expected results within one A4 page, spanning 400 to 500 words.
The submission deadline is August 15th, with notifications of acceptance to be sent out by the end of August. We are planning open access proceedings for 2025.
Conference fee early bird: 100€, Students 50€
Conference fee after 18th of October: 150€, Students 75€
