Call for Poster Proposals
7th Workshop for Women in Hardware and Systems Security (WISE)
In Person – Nov. 22 (Friday), 2024
The workshop for Women in Hardware and Systems Security (WISE) aims to attract more women to join the field of hardware and systems security (HSS) and provide a forum for the women in HSS to support each other. This workshop will offer a day-long program, including keynote and visionary talks, panel discussion, oral and poster presentations, hardware demos, and mini-tutorials. Selective presentations will be posted on the WISE YouTube Channel. More specifically, this workshop will be composed of the following main themes:
- Experience sharing and visionary view from female role models
- Discussing research/work/life challenges faced by female students in HSS
- Exchanging research ideas and prompting collaborations via oral and poster presentations
- Promoting research and education collaborations
- Presenting work-in-progress projects
- Providing mini-tutorials in the field of HSS
We encourage all women related to the field of HSS and those willing to support women in HSS to join this workshop and help grow the female workforce in HSS. The workshop history and programs in the past years are available on the workshop website: http://wise-workshop.org
Call for Poster Proposals
We encourage students to present their published work, work-in-progress, or potential thesis topics in the poster session. Each accepted poster proposal will have an optional opportunity for a 3-min oral presentation before the poster session. Best Poster awards will be announced after the poster session.
Proposal requirement:
- Proposals are limited to 1-page in length.
- The proposal must include the presenter's name, affiliation, poster title, a paragraph describing the scope of the research project.
- Each proposal must be uploaded to EasyChair by October 13, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (PST).
