Workshop on Interactive Robots and AI for Healthcare at 2024 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems

Interactive robotics and AI in healthcare have transformed medical practices and patient support, offering opportunities to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes. This workshop explores advancements, challenges, and future directions in interactive robotics and AI across medical and caregiving domains, evaluating their benefits in revolutionising health and medicine.

Submission Guidelines

Type of contributions can be extended abstracts (2-4 pages) presenting original work and novel insights in the field, case studies showcasing successful implementations or innovative applications of interactive robotics and AI in healthcare, short reports highlighting ongoing projects, preliminary findings, or emerging trends, demonstrations, or prototypes of interactive robotics and AI systems relevant to healthcare, literature reviews or position papers.

Manuscripts should be formatted according to the IROS's specified template and submission guidelines. Submissions will undergo a single-blind peer-review process by two independent reviewers.

The program committee will review the submissions, and accepted papers will be presented at the workshop during a lightning talk session. Students are particularly encouraged to submit position papers and participate in the lightning session to receive feedback on their research from the community.
