The University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is pleased to announce the International Conference on Sustainable Economics and Finance in the Digital Business Transformation (INCOSEF 2025). This international academic event brings together researchers, scholars, and professionals from diverse disciplines to explore critical transformations in business, economics, and policy within the global movement toward sustainability and digital innovation.
The conference aims to serve as a collaborative platform for intellectual exchange, addressing the complex interplay between sustainable development goals and the accelerated digitisation of business systems and economic structures. Submissions will be rigorously peer-reviewed by an international scientific committee, and selected papers may be considered for publication in affiliated academic journals or edited volumes.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted. Authors are required to follow a three-step process:
1. Submit the abstract.
- The Deadline is on 20 Oct 2025
- Word Limit: 200–300 words

- Must include: Title, keywords, author(s) name, affiliation, email

The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts. A notification of acceptance will be sent by September 30, 2025.
2. Complete registration and make payment
- Deadline: 30 Oct 2025
- After receiving acceptance of the abstract, authors must complete payment to confirm their participation.
- Registration Fee: $200 for students / $300 for Vietnamese Academics and professionals / $350 for professionals

Invited Speakers
1. Keynote Speaker: Prof. Fosso Wamba Samuel, a professor at Toulouse Business School, France.
Professor Samuel Fosso Wamba's research focuses on the business value of information and communication technology (ICT), the adoption and use of interorganisational systems (such as radiofrequency identification technology (RFID) and social media tools), e-government, supply chain management, electronic commerce, and mobile commerce. He has recently focused on utilising ICT to empower and include women in rural regions of developing nations, along with enhancing ICT-enabled emergency service delivery during crises such as bushfires and tsunamis. He has authored papers in several international conferences and journals, including the European Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Production Planning & Control, Information Systems Frontiers, Business Process Management Journal, and the Proceedings of the IEEE. He is coordinating special issues on IT/RFID for several journals, including the Business Process Management Journal, Pacific Asia Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Medical Systems, Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research, Journal of Organisational and End User Computing, Production Planning & Control, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, and Annals of Operations Research. He serves as the lead co-editor for the special issue titled “Special Issue: Bridging Humanitarian Operations Management and Organisational Theory” in the International Journal of Production Research. Additionally, he has held the roles of mini-track organiser or co-organiser and chair for the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) since 2006. In 2017, he received the Best Paper Award from the Academy of Management Journal, as well as the Paper of the Year accolade from Electronic Markets: The International Journal on Networked Business. He holds the CompTIA RFID+ Certification and is the academic co-founder of RFID Academia, as well as the Founder and CEO of e-m-RFID.biz. He serves as the Coordinator for the newly established Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics Cluster at Toulouse Business School in France.
2. Keynote Speaker: Associate Professor Thanh Thi Nguyen, who is affiliated with Monash University in Australia.
Prof. Thanh Thi Nguyen is a prominent Australian researcher who specialises in artificial intelligence, as acknowledged by The Australian's Research Magazine. He is recognised as one of the top 2% of scientists globally in the fields of artificial intelligence and image processing, as acknowledged by Elsevier B.V. and Stanford University. He is currently an associate editor for the Knowledge-Based Systems journal (Q1), published by Elsevier.
3. Keynote Speaker: Dr Thinh Hoang Gia, a lecturer at Western Sydney University, Vietnam.
Dr Thinh Gia Hoang received his PhD from RMIT University. He has led and contributed to numerous research initiatives supported by both domestic and international funding bodies, including the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED), the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, and the Hinrich Foundation. His research agenda centres around digital business transformations and sustainable business practices, with a particular focus on the evolving dynamics of emerging economies. His scholarly work has been published in several high-impact journals, such as the British Journal of Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Business Strategy and the Environment, and the International Journal of Production Economics, among others. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr Hoang’s insights have also been featured in prominent business media, including Bloomberg Businessweek, reflecting the broader business and industry relevance of his research. Dr. Hoang currently serves as Associate Editor for Technology Analysis and Strategic Management and as an Editorial Advisory Board Member for both Humanities and Social Sciences Communications and Discover Sustainability.
4. Keynote speaker: As. Prof. Umair Tanveer, an associate professor at the University of Exeter, UK.
Dr Umair Tanveer is an associate professor of operations management at the University of Exeter Business School, specialising in sustainable supply chain design, circular procurement, and digital innovation. His recent work addresses circular business models, carbon trading in emerging economies, and resilience in post-pandemic operations. He holds extensive experience in applying advanced analytics, DEA, fuzzy TOPSIS, and simulations, and he merges academic rigour with global business relevance. Dr Tanveer is the ideal keynote speaker to explore how operations and supply chains can drive sustainability, resilience, and innovation in today’s complex systems. He has contributed extensively to these fields through scholarly publications and serves as a reviewer for leading journals such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM), International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM), Journal of Business Logistics (JBL), Industrial Marketing Management (IMM), International Journal of Production Economics (IJPE), Journal of Business Research (JBR) and British Journal of Management (BJM). Dr Tanveer is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
